Rules
1. Read rules before joining.
2. Respect and obey our rules. If you feel that you can’t do this, don’t join.
3. Do not copy something, from this site or any other, and claim it as your own. That will get you a suspension. This includes names, plots, characteristics, etc.
4. If you want to have a Special Ability, show us you can handle following our rules first. No Abilities until you have been here for 5 Weeks.
5. No Spamming. That is an automatic suspension.
6. If you are going to be absent for a period of more than four days, please, if you can, inform us in the LOA Board. If you fail to do this, we will have you listed as inactive, until you login anon.
7. We are allowing characters to have intimate and physical relationships. Do not abuse our generosity. If you would like to have a private board, see Private Areas.
8. Only advertise in the appropriate boards.
9. This site and our members do not discriminate against anyone, be it based on religion, personal history, race, size, sexual orientation, country, etc. If we find this rule being disobeyed, you will be warned and put on probation. (Note: These rules, all of them, apply only to members, not characters portrayed by members. Do not abuse it.)
10. No fighting in the boards. If it is that important to you, take it to PM. If we get complaints, we will not look the other way.
11. Some users like to have a student in more than one House. We allow this. However, if we catch someone in password-protected areas and they have no reason to be there, we will issue a warning. Example; Luke Jackson, of Gryffindor, is not allowed in the Ravenclaw Common Room.
12. We take harassment very seriously, so don’t do it.
13. Students are not allowed to have babies while attending school. They may, however, be engaged for marriage at 16, and have a wedding anytime, with the permission of an Admin.
14. Drugs. Yes, we know it happens. It is allowed, though frowned upon. Being caught with Drugs in your possession while on school property will result in an automatic expelling, so don’t get caught. Your House will lose 50 Points, and your School will lose 25 Points, as well.
15. Alcohol. That happens, as well. Again, don’t get caught. Hide it or face a heavy detention sentence. Your House will lose 35 Points, and your School will lose 20 Points, as well. In addition, spiking the drinking liquids of other is also not allowed.
16. Age-Appropriate Magic. No First Year can possibly cast a Memory Charm. Threads in which Advanced Magic is being used by someone who can’t possibly use it will be locked.
17. Unforgivable Curses. You may use them, but ask permission (In a PM) of your target first. Example; Luke wants to use the Imperius Curse on Julian, but first, he must PM Julian’s Role-player to ask him/her to allow him to cast the spell on Julian. This little restriction only applies to the three Unforgivable Curses. If you get caught by someone with authority, you will be given a choice. Switch schools, or spend a few months in a Wizarding Prison.
18. Do not give out personal information to anyone on this site. That includes: Credit Card info, home address, full name, names of family members, name of workplace, city you live in, school you attend, passwords, or anything else that can identify you in a crowd.
19. Do not post links or images of adult content. You will be banned. If that type of thing is even discussed, it will result in suspension.
20. Do not trash this site, or any other site, while posting.
21. We will be enforcing the Reasonable Restriction for Underage Sorcery.
22. It is everyone’s duty to report it when they see these rules being broken.
23. Respect Guests, they are potential allies/members.
24. Secret Question: What was V.C. Andrews’ Full name?
25. Your Celebrity Claim is not valid until you have been sorted. If someone else comes along and asks for the same Celebrity and they have already been sorted, they get that Celebrity, and you'll have to find someone else. If there are any disputes over a claim, the claim will be void and unusable.
26. ALL new members are on a Two week probation period when they join. During this time, we will watch your actions to see if we should allow you to have abilities when the time comes.
